Russian artists Sadowski and Li-Mi-Yan started working together in 2016. As well as conducting common projects, each artist pursues their careers in art. The artists have studied photography together at Rodchenko Art School. After graduating, they started experimenting with different materials, entering a shot as painters and sculptors.
Li-Mi-Yan and Sadowski are researching the topics of death, violence and deformation which can be expressed not only physically, but also mentally. The artists take their viewer’s hand and travel with him across the darkness of consciousness, where you can easily get lost and muddle the living with the dead.
And where every action can be destructive or constructive. Death always has the beginning and does not have the end. The world will always struggle against violence creating it even more.
